It was a dreary day on Saturday, and work was slow all day, so it was GREAT FUN to get a pretty flowered-covered package from my Secret Knitting Pal!

First, I got a lovely toile print needle case, but there were also 3 brightly colored seed packets from Renee's Garden (one of my favorite websites) for some bright and cheery annuals.

Here's a closeup of the needle case, completely with pastoral bovines and a lovely little goatherdess milking her goat!

THANKS KNITTING PAL! I love these gifts!

I decided even though the interior lights yellowed the colors a bit, I'd better just go ahead and take pictures, rather than wait for a sunny day. It's been overcast now since Tuesday, and today it is pouring.... but WAIT... THERE'S MORE....

Yep, more snow in the forecast: 6-12 inches, which usually means those of us here in the mountains get 12 (or more)! Have I mentioned that I'm ready for spring now? We can move all of this winter weather back above the Arctic Circle, thanks just the same.

All for now.....
