The K1P2 box from the Great Stash Redistribution Project arrived yesterday!! The box is full to the brim!

I restrained myself manfully, as my Da would say, and only selected 2 little things:

The white is 2 small skeins of angora and silk spun together into a fuzzy yet shiny yarn - I'm thinking maybe a lace scarf for Xmas for my MIL. The blue is some very soft and lofty yarn (there are 3 full skeins and a couple of partial ones) - I thought this would be great as a cap and booties set for Kate and Woody - assuming they have a boy - and if not, well then, it can go to a Caps for Kids project.

I put several things in the box (actually had to kneel on it to get the top closed so that I could get it taped shut) - hopefully fun things that somebody out there can use.

Finally, we wound up getting quite a bit of snow here over the weekend. The ski area at Jay Peak, just north of us, picked up an extra 15 inches. We probably got just less than half of that, but enough for me to plow again. Here's hoping that's the end of plowable snowstorms for the season. I love the cold weather and the snow, but I think I'd like to have it be a little bit more like spring now. So, here's the view currently from the front deck looking west.

All for now - I'm off to town to post the GSRP box.
