Isn't it always fun to get things unexpectedly in the mail?

Yesterday, after the postman came, I had a very brightly-printed, flower-covered envelope delivered, and inside were:

Are they not beautiful? They are a special gift from my secret knitting pal - an exchange hosted by Sandy at Sandy's Knitting Blog.

THANK YOU!!! SECRET PAL! I love them. I'm going to work on Dave's Aran sweater tonight, and I'm will "upgrade" from my boring pink and blue plastic ones to these swanky new ones.

In other notes, Dave just had a birthday on Thursday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO HIM!!! We had a nice dinner out at the Highland Lodge and he's been puttering in the garage all weekend long, in between studying for his oral and written comprehensive exams, which are coming up in April and May. He's definitely working hard on all his notes and reading and I'm SO proud of him - he's in the home stretch now!!

We thought that spring was coming, but apparently not. Last night, we had snow and temps down below zero. BRRR! It's supposed to be a bit warmer tomorrow, so I need to get my youngest bunny, Pippin, sheared. I'm also going to try to get before and after shots. The amount of hair these guys lose in one shearing is truly amazing.

All for now.......
