Yet another nasty weather day here. We started out with snow flurries this a.m., but now it is just raining hard with a gusty wind. It is just above freezing, so all the snow has iced over as the rain has fallen on it. ICK!

Sydney, I think, has adopted the correct approach to all of this not-so-nice weather! The dog is a tightly coiled bundle of nerves, let me tell ya!

I'm going to spend the afternoon getting some dyed fiber samples going on the stove. I've gotten back some angora and wool blended together from the mill as a sample run, and I'd like to see how that will turn out if I dye some of it. It's nice and soft - it'd be GREAT for bedsocks. Otherwise, we are battening down the hatches to wait out the rain tonight. I think we'll build a fire and I'll sit and spin for a bit after Sydney and I get back from our mucky walk.

'Til then......
