I was totally stifled in my quest for a weaving project - I neglected to measure the table loom and I needed a 20" width, but only had 16". Bummer. I now have a towel warp all ready to go, however, when I get my larger loom set back up. I'll have to ponder some other weaving project for now.

In the meantime, however, I finally got a lovely little beaded scarf pattern well underway. I struggled with trying to mix intricate lace and beads and it just was too much for my pattern-writing skills. This is a simple knit pattern, but one with a lot of bang for the buck and, I think, looks very nice with the addition of beads.

See what you think:

I'm waiting on more angora/alpaca roving to come back from the mill and Terry dug up the last of her fawn alpaca from her gelding Rueben, so once I get my fawn bunny sheared, that will go off to the mill as well.

It's been warm here - right around freezing, so tomorrow I'm going to try to do bunny maintenance day: Clean cages, get everybody dosed on their yearly meds and general clean up. It's currently snowing lightly, but we did miss out on the estimated 8-plus inches from the last snowstorm, and only picked up 3-4. More cold weather is on the way for the weekend, however.

Today, I'm going to work on some little fiber projects. I'm spinning a small sample of dyed cotton roving and I may try to get some carding done as well if the basement is not too cold.

All for now. Blessings.
