2003-09-27 - 8:34 a.m. Whew! Busy week. First and foremost, for those of you who have asked, here is a picture of our rescue dog, Sydney:
She's a border collie/retriever (maybe lab) mix. Such a sweetie! Wednesday, I had a lovely visit with Terry Miller at Snowshoe Alpacas and had lots of spinning time outside on a gorgeous, early fall day. I worked on a gray hand-dyed Wensleydale for some socks for Dave. If you are interested in finding out more about Terry's farm and alpacas, make sure to hit her website at www.alpacas-snowshoefarm.com. Friday night, I got in a quick but fun visit with family in Middlebury (my cousins, aunt and uncle). It's a great little town and I had the chance to drive through the Mad River ski hill area, which is beautiful this time of year. Can winter be far off? I noticed on our walk yesterday that the poplar trees have already moved through their yellow colors and are now dull brown. Also, the local Xmas tree farm is starting to cut trees already!!! I hope everyone is readying for their winter weather. Stay warm and dry. Blessings.
